Executive Director, Accounting & Finance Recruitment - Asset & Wealth Management Job Description: Fund Valuations: Oversee and execute the monthly, quarterly, and annual valuation process for a range of funds, covering various asset classes including equities, fixed income, and commodities. This includes understanding and applying appropriate valuation methodologies for each asset class. Group Valuations: Oversee and execute annual and ad hoc valuation processes for Global Group of Companies and work with independent valuation companies / review their work. Independent Price Verification (IPV): Lead the IPV process, challenging pricing from internal and external sources (brokers, administrators, pricing vendors). Ensure compliance with US GAAP/IFRS and regulatory requirements throughout the IPV process. Valuation Governance: Develop and maintain robust valuation policies and procedures, ensuring adherence to best practices and industry standards. Participate in valuation committee meetings, presenting well-supported findings and recommendations. Drive continuous improvement in valuation processes. Financial & Investor Reporting: Prepare and review accurate valuation reports, including detailed supporting documentation and analysis, for internal stakeholders, external auditors, and investors. Address investor queries related to valuations. Control Framework: Enhance and maintain the control framework surrounding the valuation process, identifying and mitigating potential risks. Document and test key controls. System Enhancements: Contribute to system and process development to optimize valuation efficiency and accuracy. Explore new valuation technologies. Collaboration: Work with Portfolio Management, Operations, Legal, Compliance, and Finance to ensure accurate and timely valuations. Build strong cross-functional relationships. Regulatory Reporting: Assist in preparing regulatory reports related to valuations and fund performance. Stay informed on evolving regulatory requirements affecting valuations. Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field CPA or equivalent accredited qualification 8+ years of experience in product control or a related valuation role within a hedge fund or bank Deep understanding of valuation methodologies across asset classes, including complex financial instruments Experience with independent price verification (IPV) processes, including knowledge of market data sources and vendor relationships Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other relevant software. Experience with valuation systems (e.g., Bloomberg, Markit) is a plus Solid knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS, and regulatory requirements Workday financials experience Employment details
