Overview

D365 F&O Technical Solutions Architect role at BDO USA. The Technical Solutions Architect provides expertise for clients in technical business process management activities, leads the client, and collaborates with the Technical Architecture team to determine best practices and efficient processes. The Architect uses knowledge of applications and tools to guide the delivery and Functional Architecture teams in configuring and enhancing applications to implement designed processes. The Architect serves as the primary conduit between business process owners and executives at the client and the technical/functional teams to ensure the application meets agreed requirements. Job Duties

Diagnose: Work with the Functional Solutions Architect to understand project scope, oversee environment management, understand application and integration methodologies, align with data migration requirements, and collect non-functional requirements for the solution. Analyze: Coordinate with the Functional Architecture team to collect enhancement requirements, document data migration needs, partner on ISV analysis, review gap requirements for feasibility, provide high-level estimates, recommend BI and reporting strategies, and understand key performance requirements. Develop: Manage technical task breakdowns, provide guidance to Technical Consultants, oversee code management and deployment processes, direct unit testing, and help develop Go-Live strategy. Validate: Supervise testing and code remediation, manage performance tuning strategy. Deploy and Support: Execute Go Live deployment plan and provide post-Go-Live support to ensure processes function as expected and change management has occurred. Foster a positive demeanor, learning attitude and client service mentality with the team. Travel up to 25%, as needed. Other duties as required. Supervisory Responsibilities

Owns and drives completion of key workstreams by team members directed by project leaders. Manages project workstreams as directed. Mentors and develops entry-level and senior consultants. Education and Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree and six (6) or more years of technical D365 experience leading projects and technical teams, required; OR High School Diploma/GED and seven (7) or more years of technical D365 experience leading projects and technical teams, required. Experience

Six (6) or more years of technical D365 experience leading projects and technical teams, required. Three (3) or more years in one of the following areas, required: enacting software as a business process improvement catalyst; implementing business process improvements; designing and delivering software enhancements. Some client-facing best practice consulting experience is preferred. Software and Technology

Experience with four or more of the following development technologies, required: X++; .NET/C#; SSRS; RESTful API Web Services; SQL; JSON; any additional OO language. Experience with one or more of the following implementation technologies, required: ADO/Visual Studio/LCS setup and configuration with F&O; ADO Pipelines and Build Runs; D365 F&O functional knowledge. Strong analytical, problem solving, facilitation, documentation, and communication skills. Excellent communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written. Excellent interpersonal and customer relationship skills. Business process analysis, design, and process flow skills. Ability to operate in a fast-paced technical environment.
