is currently seeking a board certified/board eligible Core Faculty Family Medicine Physician to join our team of collaborating physicians. Two positions are available: General Family Medicine Core Faculty and Obstetric Family Medicine Core Faculty. Mercyhealth is a multi-regional, integrated health system comprising 7 hospitals, more than 700 employed physicians, over 80 outpatient clinics and other service sites that provide care to residents in more than 55 communities throughout northern Illinois and southern Wisconsin. We provide over 125 specialty and sub-specialty services, including adult and pediatric critical care, neonatal intensive care, neurosurgery, heart and vascular care, cancer care, plastic and reconstructive surgery, Da Vinci robotic surgery, Watchman, and more. Admitting Hospital: Mercyhealth Javon Bea Hospital, a Comprehensive Stroke Center and an ACS designated Level I Adult Trauma Center, Level III NICU, with advanced operating and surgery suites, including hybrid operating suites for real-time radiographic capabilities while performing surgery.

Two positions available – General Family Medicine Core Faculty and Obstetric Family Medicine Core Faculty. Craft YOUR practice and share your expertise teaching Family Medicine Residents. We support and promote the private practice model in an employed Physician setting. Back-up call only. Resident Physicians take primary call. Newborn rounding in rotation with other faculty members. Newly remodeled clinic plus a new Cancer Institute opening late 2024. Typically, 4-4.5 days per week. Flexible work life balance. Vast multi-subspecialty referral sources. Types of cases include, but are not limited to; Hand, skin care, trauma, breast reconstruction, and esthetics. EPIC EMR. Qualifications
MD/DO Board Certified Residency training from an ACGME accredited family medicine program. OB Faculty only – Fellowship training in Obstetrics or have current obstetric practice. The ability to communicate clearly and work as a member of a team. A passion to teach residents and medical students in didactic/clinic setting. OB Faculty only – includes hospital setting. Skilled at providing exceptional care for all ages. Previous faculty experience in an accredited residency or fellowship program is desired, but new graduates are encouraged to apply.
