The

Vice President, IT Product Strategy and Management

guides the vision, strategy, and execution of a technology product. They are responsible for aligning product development with overall business goals, ensuring the product meets customer needs, and fostering a collaborative environment within the product team. This role will bridge the gap between technical capabilities and business objectives. Gauges of Responsibility

Lead product teams including GlobalWorks, Salesforce and Microsoft teams.

Establish Product Standards & Best Practices

Define and socialize frameworks for product lifecycle management (e.g., discovery, MVP, OKRs)

Standardize product artifacts: roadmaps, backlogs, value hypotheses, outcome metrics

Promote lean/agile principles with a customer-centric approach

Governance & Operating Model

Define the product operating model (roles, responsibilities, engagement models)

Create guardrails for product team autonomy vs. strategic alignment

Support prioritization frameworks (e.g., value vs. effort, OKR alignment)

Capability Building & Coaching

Train and upskill Product Portfolio Leads and Product Leads across the org (e.g., onboarding, certifications, workshops); provide ongoing coaching and feedback on discovery, delivery, and stakeholder management

Facilitate communities of practice to share learnings and elevate craft

Tooling & Enablement

Curate and implement tools for product planning, road mapping, customer feedback, etc.

Ensure teams are enabled with analytics, experimentation platforms, and customer insights

Metrics & Continuous Improvement

Define and track product health metrics (e.g., time to value, adoption, outcomes)

Conduct maturity assessments and pulse checks across product teams

Recommend improvements based on data and cross-team learnings

Strategic Alignment

Ensure product teams align with company strategy and customer value streams

Partner with portfolio management, architecture, and finance for integrated planning

Bridge long-term strategy with near-term execution across teams

Lead product teams including GlobalWorks, Salesforce and Microsoft teams.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree preferred

Minimum of 7 years of related product management experience in product life cycle

Deep product management expertise (discovery, delivery, strategy)

Influence Without Authority: Able to lead cross functional teams and drive change without direct control.

Data- and outcome-driven mindset

Ability to balance governance with team autonomy

Customer-Centric Thinking: Deep understanding of customer needs and how to create value.

Standardization without Bureaucracy: Can introduce structure that enhances, not hinders, team agility.

Tooling & Systems Thinking: Able to evaluate and implement tools (road mapping, analytics, feedback).
