The Operational Procurement, Regional Director presents a career opportunity to utilize extensive knowledge in procurement and ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to minimize supplier interruption to operations. What You Will Do
Provide operations with a key point of contact and implement procurement initiatives within the businesses, enabling the organization to achieve its financial goals. Mitigate value erosion and implement business processes and practices enabling higher Operational Effectiveness Efficiency (OEE) with 3rd party procurement meeting requirements, at the right place, time, quality, service, at lowest total cost. Foster strong relationships with stakeholders, promote collaboration, and break down internal silos to enhance cross-functional cooperation. Serve as liaison between business stakeholders and the procurement function. Develop methods, tools, and processes to ensure continuity of supply with qualified suppliers providing appropriate materials, services and technical expertise. Execute category strategies and improvement initiatives with clear actions, owners and dates; collaborate across functional teams to remove roadblocks. Facilitate the inclusion of Procurement in supplier discussions to ensure the procurement value proposition remains relevant and effective. Cultivate relationships with key suppliers to promote performance; represent the company with strategic suppliers to ensure performance requirements are met. Collaborate with category management to influence strategies and supplier management. Ensure sustained availability of competent resources and ongoing development of personnel skills to meet goals. Drive procurement best practices and provide commercial expertise to stakeholders to support commercially astute decisions. Identify demand and enable exceptional client service, facilitating faster execution from tactical to strategic needs. Expedite critical procurement needs across categories to ensure excellent service delivery. Assist stakeholders with procurement engagements, providing first-line procurement expertise and triaging to Category teams as appropriate. Program manage key procurement activities, communicate progress to stakeholders, and address issues proactively to ensure project delivery. What You Need To Succeed
15+ years of progressive experience in sourcing, procurement, supply chain, or operations Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain, Finance, or related field 5+ years in a leadership role with responsibility for building and developing talent Experience in developing and leading regional teams and supporting multiple operating locations Excellent communication and presentation skills with high-level stakeholder management, including VP, SVP and C-suite level Qualified applicants will be considered without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability, protected veteran status or other characteristics protected by law. The salary range is $156,375 - $260,625, with potential benefits including bonus, health insurance, flexible spending accounts (FSA/HSA), retirement plans, and time away from work.
