Responsibilities
Develop core functionality for autonomous driving based on the fusion of perception and map signals
Generate real-time 3D world models for planning, integrating various sensor inputs
Enable HD mapless driving in complex urban scenarios through enriched models
Lead and mentor engineering teams to tackle challenging autonomous vehicle problems
Produce code and designs adhering to automotive quality and safety standards
Qualifications
BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science or related fields, or equivalent experience
Minimum of 5 years of experience, with at least 2 years in the autonomous vehicle or robotics industry
2+ years of experience in a technical leadership role
Strong analytical and independent software engineering skills
Experience in software development on embedded or automotive platforms
Preferred Qualifications
Background in 3D geometry, computer vision, sensor calibration, or state estimation algorithms
Significant industry experience in autonomous vehicles, especially self-driving cars
Experience developing real-time computer vision systems
Strong API and framework design skills
