Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Be empowered to meet the customer where they are and personalize their experience. Elevate in-store experience by modeling Customer Experience Leader (CEL) behaviors and coaching associates to achieve store goals and KPI. Respond to customer and associate requests with a high sense of urgency.
Ensure customers have a positive experience by maintaining store standards. Complete daily open/close tasks including cleaning, recovery and maintenance.
Partner with Store Manager to create long-term strategic plans and communicate action plans with the leadership team to ensure tasks are completed.
Customer Experience and Operations
Improve metric-based goals by reviewing and communicating daily/weekly/monthly progress. Communicate business trends to Store Manager/Market Leader.
Increase sales by leveraging inventory reports to maximize productivity and merchandise presentations.
Oversee processes related to audits, donations, transfers, mismates, damages, etc.
Ensure all policy and procedures are followed in partnership with the Store Manager.
In-Store and Omni Services
Set expectations and participate in inventory activities (freight receipt, product placement, markdowns, MOOS).
Participate in omni activities in store including Charge/Send and Buy Online Pick Up In Store (BOPIS).
Submit supply needs to support successful operations across the business.
People and Customer Focus
Maintain a safe environment for customers and associates; ensure equipment is in good operating condition.
Help associates resolve customer concerns and know when to escalate to the Store Manager.
Support Store Manager with associate timekeeping, scheduling, forecasting, and payroll considerations.
Assist in resolving associate relations matters and participate in performance reviews.
Leadership and Development
Recognize store team achievements and contribute to coaching and training initiatives.
Assist Store Manager in recruiting, interviewing, and onboarding Store Supervisor, Store Lead, and Store Associate candidates.
Delegate and perform other duties as assigned by the Store Manager and/or Co-Manager.
Required Skills
Excellent customer service with professionalism, positivity, and enthusiasm.
Ability to develop collaborative working relationships and communicate clearly.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to move with tempo and hold the team accountable to meet time-bound expectations.
Availability to work nights, weekends, holidays, and varied shifts.
Proficiency with technology for customer interactions (registers, devices).
Ability to stand/walk up to 100% of shift; ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally/frequently; ability to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl as needed.
Experience
Minimum 2 years of management experience.
Minimum high school graduate or equivalent; some college preferred.
The estimated pay range for this position is $23.05 to $28.80. The actual pay offer will consider a range of factors including experience, location, and organizational needs. Benefits eligibility may vary by location and position. This position is eligible for our Monthly Sales Bonus.
