We aim to build the best and most localized editing experience, to help users catch up with the trend and express themselves. This role is a part of the CapCut for Business team that supports commercial users and businesses to streamline their marketing content production process from beginning to end.

Responsibilities

Lead CapCut’s platform-level external business development in the US market, with a core focus on building and deepening partnerships with top tech/internet platforms including Google, Amazon, and Microsoft (MSFT). Drive user scale growth through platform resource synergy, formulate and execute platform cooperation strategies covering the entire user lifecycle (new user acquisition, user retention, re-engagement), and deliver key growth KPIs.

Own the end-to-end development and maintenance of diverse collaboration scenarios with platforms like Google, Amazon, and MSFT—including but not limited to in-platform paid advertising integration, ecosystem traffic collaboration, user referral program alignment, and feature integration partnerships. Analyze core cooperation metrics, optimize strategies using data and machine learning (ML) models, and enhance overall return on investment (ROI).

Deeply understand the US platform ecosystem landscape, accurately identify the collaboration needs and resource advantages of top platforms (Google/Amazon/MSFT), build a platform partnership showcase library, and customize market-adapted cooperation plans that align with platform characteristics. Lead plan execution to support CapCut’s US market business growth goals.

Collaborate closely with internal cross-functional teams (industry research, data/algorithm, user product, marketing) to align on platform partnership needs and progress. Coordinate internal and external resources to ensure efficient advancement and smooth launch of cooperation projects with Google, Amazon, MSFT, and other key platforms.

Qualifications Minimum Qualifications

BA/BS degree or above.

2+ years of platform-level business cooperation experience in the US market. Candidates with prior collaboration experience with top tech platforms (Google, Amazon, Microsoft) are preferred. Strong passion for and in-depth understanding of the AI industry or creative editing tools sector.

Possess proven BD resources or professional networks within top US platforms (Google/Amazon/MSFT). Ability to quickly connect with platform collaboration contacts, convert partnership intentions into actionable projects, and demonstrate strong resource integration and business negotiation skills.

Self-driven with sharp business acumen. Capable of coordinating collaboration between external platforms and internal cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, dynamic platform ecosystem, and effectively delivering complex platform partnership projects.

Experience in managing multiple parallel platform partnership projects. Ability to allocate resources reasonably, anticipate collaboration risks (e.g., platform policy changes, resource adaptation issues), monitor project progress, and ensure on-time achievement of partnership goals.

Excellent English business communication, documentation (e.g., partnership proposals, SOW), data presentation, and collaboration skills. Ability to efficiently respond to the needs of US-based platform partners and ensure smooth cross-enterprise, cross-team collaboration.

Preferred Qualifications

Excellent written and spoken communication skills in more than one language, especially to communicate and cooperate with cross-national teams.

Job Information The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $83600 - $192534 annually.

Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.
