Overview
Product Experience Designer We are looking for a talented and experienced Product Experience Designer to join our team. You will be responsible for supporting the product creation process from ideation to launch, working closely with cross-functional teams to understand user needs, develop design solutions, and create prototypes. You will also support user research and iterate designs based on user feedback. Location : This role requires in-office presence 1-2 days per week with flexibility for remote work. Alternate locations may be considered if candidates reside within commuting distance from an office. Per policy, candidates not within a reasonable commuting distance from posting location(s) will not be considered unless an accommodation is granted by law. Please note that Elevance Health maintains a hybrid/virtual work policy and may require time onsite as discussed during the hiring process.
Responsibilities
Conceptualize and translate user needs and business requirements into visually compelling and intuitive design solutions. Design complex user journeys across web and mobile platforms to create seamless product experiences related to Health Plan benefits, organizational, and member needs. Conceptualize and create visually compelling and intuitive design solutions for web and mobile interfaces that align with user needs and business goals. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including business leaders, designers, product managers, and technology teams to translate user insights into innovative interfaces. Use design thinking, data, and tools to ideate and iterate on concepts for a seamless user experience. Produce wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs with attention to detail and consistency. Stay informed about design trends, best practices, and emerging technologies (AI, automation, hyper-personalization) and apply them to enhance product quality. Support collaboration across time zones and with overseas resources to ensure effective teamwork.
Minimum Requirements
Requires a bachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, Product Design, or a related field. Plus a total of at least five (5) years of business or IT experience, including at least three (3) years in product experience design or UX design. Proficiency with tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, Adobe Experience Manager, and related software in an Agile environment. Equivalency of education and experience may be considered.
Preferred Skills
Strong portfolio demonstrating wireframes, prototypes, and final designs Experience on Windows and macOS; comfortable using each platform for core job functions
Salary and Benefits
Salary range for this position is $95,360 to $164,496. Elevance Health offers a comprehensive benefits package including incentive programs, 401(k) matching, stock purchase plan, and other programs subject to eligibility.
