Overview
Englewood Health is seeking a Fellowship Trained Breast Surgical Oncologist to join the Leslie Simons Breast Care and Cytodiagnosis Center within The Lefcourt Family Cancer Treatment & Wellness Center. The successful candidate will join a growing comprehensive Breast Surgical Program within a multidisciplinary Center and contribute to a Center focused on breast disease care, education, and research opportunities. Responsibilities
Join a Division of three Fellowship trained Breast oncologists and two affiliated Breast Surgeons. Manage new breast cancer cases (approximately 450–500 annually). Participate in a multidisciplinary Breast Disease Management Team that meets weekly to ensure high-quality care. Teach within the Surgical Residency Program and participate in the accredited Breast Fellowship. Engage in research opportunities with an NCI basic research team evaluating genetic abnormalities associated with progression in breast cancer. Integrate with the cooperative clinical trials group and participate in open studies for breast cancer. Potential for academic appointment at the Instructor or Assistant Professor level. Collaborate within a program housed in a facility that has been designated as a Comprehensive Community Cancer Program by the Commission on Cancer of the American College of Surgeons. Qualifications
