Be among the first 25 applicants. The United Firm seeks an admitted attorney for a Senior Immigration Attorney position in a premier Phoenix-area law firm with room for growth. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated Associate Attorney to gain valuable experience and advance their career. You will report to the Managing Immigration Attorney, manage your caseload, interact with clients, and collaborate with the Immigration Team of Attorneys and legal assistants. Responsibilities
Explain immigration concepts and present strategic solutions Represent non-detained and detained individuals in removal proceedings in Immigration Court and the Board of Immigration Appeals Manage workload of cases Visit and conduct intake with detained individuals at centers Prepare diverse immigration applications, including removal defense and family-based petitions Review immigration applications/packets and make necessary adjustments Present to and work with law enforcement, prosecutorial offices, and community organizations on changes in immigration law Meet with potential clients for strategic immigration consultations and determine necessary strategy Develop strategy and prepare clients/witnesses for court/USCIS testimony Provide legal analysis to determine possible case benefits Prepare and submit legal briefs for a variety of immigration cases Qualifications
At least 5–8 years of immigration law experience Team player open to helping, strategizing, and collaborating with fellow associates Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred but not required Strong interpersonal skills Track record of moving cases forward and ability to manage a caseload Experience with Family-Based Petitions, Humanitarian, EOIR, Detained, Citizenship, and other USCIS applications Experience with Case Management Software is preferred Benefits & Compensation
Pay range: $100,000 – $120,000 USD.
