Overview
Senior Interior Designer, Luxury Markets – Dallas, Texas; Omaha, Nebraska; Overland Park, Kansas. This role is with DLR Group, an integrated design firm focused on elevating the human experience through design. Position can be based in Overland Park, KS or Omaha, NE. The project focus includes working within our integrated design team across pre-design through construction administration, with collaboration with Interiors Leader and Region Leader, and mentoring staff. Responsibilities
Collaborate on project design efforts across pre-design through construction administration. Partner with Interiors Leader and Region Leader on client interactions and presentations. Mentor staff and foster a respectful, communicative, collaborative work environment. Pivot between market sectors, leveraging and developing your strengths for the team. Participate in marketing and business development activities, interviews, firm research and development projects, and development of sector tools and marketing materials as needed. Contribute to Construction Documents and specifications and may provide QA/QC support. Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in interior design or equivalent 10 years of commercial design experience NCIDQ (or equivalent) license Ability to work independently and in cross-disciplinary teams across multiple offices Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills; enthusiastic team player Strong leadership and team-building skills Industry involvement in relevant Campus market sector organizations Proficiency with Revit, Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office; SketchUp and/or 3D rendering software Interest in Healthy Materials and sustainable building design Additional Notes
