Job Responsibilities
Build a functional team specialized in marketing and sales while interfacing with technical personnel internally and externally
Develop and implement best practices for small to large BESS projects across product lines (residential, commercial, industrial, utility scale, UPS)
Act as a domain expert on BESS, cooperate with ESS-related parties, review and challenge financial considerations, and approve optimal project solutions
Develop metrics and targets for continuous improvement in project delivery
Establish methods to track construction progress, acquisition opportunities, and new market identification; present status reports to the global team
Participate in industry conferences and networking, maintaining close connection to market trends
Develop relationships with key technology vendors in the battery energy storage industry involving procurement, construction, and EPC
Negotiate contracts with customers, partners, vendors, consultants, and installation subcontractors to enhance Gotion\'s ESS competitive position
Required Qualifications
5+ years of experience in Business Development
BA in Finance, Marketing, or related field (MBA preferred)
2+ years in the energy sector, specifically ESS
Excellent communication and networking skills
Experience in a startup or similar environment
Global experience and understanding of multicultural nuances in decision-making
Base pay is one part of our total compensation package at Gotion and is determined within a range. The base pay range for this role is $120,000 - $160,000 USD and will depend on skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
