Overview Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and independent Radiologic Technologist to join our Interventional Radiology (IR) team. This position involves working in IR procedure rooms, providing both scrub and circulator support during complex angiographic and thrombectomy procedures. The role requires strong technical expertise, trauma certification, and the ability to work flexible shifts including weekends and on-call coverage.
Key Responsibilities
Perform radiologic procedures independently in interventional radiology procedure rooms
Support IR procedures including thrombectomies, angioplasty, TIPS, and other angiographic interventions
Serve as scrub and circulator during IR procedures
Operate and maintain imaging equipment, including GE and Siemens systems
Provide on-call coverage, including weekends and trauma cases
Collaborate closely with radiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure patient safety and quality imaging
Maintain compliance with all regulatory and safety standards
Required Qualifications
Minimum of 2 years of experience in Interventional Radiology
Vocational or technical training in Radiologic Technology
Registration as RT (Radiologic Technologist) in the ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists)
Certifications in trauma care
Experience with GE and Siemens imaging systems
Extensive knowledge of thrombectomy devices and angiographic procedures
Availability for weekend shifts and on-call coverage
Ability to work independently under pressure
Preferred Qualifications
Prior experience in trauma and emergency IR settings
Strong familiarity with a wide range of angiographic procedures
Certifications
State Radiology License (active)
ARRT Registration as RT (Radiologic Technologist)
