Overview

Leads the credentialing and privileging process, oversees FPPE/OPPE, provides guidance on policies and procedures related to appointments and credentialing actions, and must understand and adhere to medical staff bylaws, state/federal regulatory requirements, as well as accreditation requirements. Leads quality process improvement initiatives, responsible for medical staff committee oversight and management, including agendas/minutes, and pre-committee preparation. Monitors the accuracy of the credentialing database. Monitors Proctoring. Functions as the lead to medical credentialing professionals, providing direction/guidance and answering questions. The final salary and offer components are subject to additional approvals based on UC policy. Your placement within the salary range is dependent on several factors, including your work experience and internal equity within this position classification at UCSF. The annual salary range for this position is $72,000 - $154,000, with a minimum target entry point of $100,000+, depending on experience.
