Overview
Our Pediatric Gastroenterology (GI) Division is growing rapidly. We will soon include 6 physicians and 4 nurse practitioners, with approval to hire up to 3 additional faculty in 2026, and an aim to add 12 to 15 faculty within the next 3 to 5 years. We are actively recruiting academic pediatric gastroenterologists with interests in both general and subspecialty care. Opportunities
7 clinical sessions per week (including endoscopy) Compensation north of $70/wRVU Embedded support team: psychologist, social workers, dietitians, nurses, and medical assistants A collaborative and supportive academic environment We have launched a Pediatric GI Fellowship and will be recruiting a Program Director The fellowship builds on a strong training pipeline with 75+ pediatric residents in Louisville and over 140 statewide Areas of focus
Motility
We can support external training with faculty interest to grow into a motilist We have a world-class adult motility program
Clinical Nutrition, led by a dedicated Director of Nutrition
Ideally, advanced fellowship-trained, but not a requirement
Aerodigestive
In collaboration with two dedicated ENT surgeons and pulmonologists
Therapeutic endoscopy, including:
Pancreas program with ITP expansion Dedicated pediatric colorectal surgery Hereditary polyposis center
