Make Your Impact Within a Rapidly Growing Fintech Company As the Director of Business Development at BILL, you will be a key player in shaping strategic partnerships and alliances that fuel our growth and impact. Your role will involve forging partnerships, expanding our ecosystem, and contributing to our mission of creating a more connected and efficient financial world. Responsibilities Strategic Partner Identification: Lead the charge in identifying and cultivating strategic partnerships that align with BILL's mission and growth strategy to create distribution channels and enhance product offerings. Relationship Building: Cultivate and nurture relationships with potential partners, industry leaders, and key stakeholders to foster a robust network of collaboration opportunities. Negotiation and Deal-Making: Lead negotiations, structuring, and execution of partnership agreements to drive business growth and create win-win scenarios. Ecosystem Expansion: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and evaluate new markets, verticals, and channels for expansion, ensuring BILL remains at the forefront of industry innovation. Thought Leadership: Represent BILL at conferences, events, and forums to showcase our expertise and strengthen our reputation. Team Leadership: Mentor and guide a team of dedicated business development professionals, fostering their growth and professional development. Data-Driven Insights: Utilize data and market trends to inform decision-making, refine strategies, and seize new opportunities. Qualifications 8+ years of success in business development, partnerships, or strategic alliances within the technology or financial services sectors. Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of the fintech landscape, SaaS models, and emerging market trends that drive innovation. Strategic Vision: A visionary thinker with the ability to anticipate market shifts and identify partnership opportunities that align with our mission. Relationship Building: Exceptional interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and nurture relationships at all levels of an organization. Negotiation Mastery: Demonstrated expertise in negotiation, deal structuring, and partnership agreement execution. Leadership: Proven ability to lead, mentor, and inspire teams to achieve exceptional results. Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and concisely. Collaborative Spirit: A team player who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. Comfortable with Ambiguity: Adept at navigating uncertain situations and adapting strategies in a rapidly changing environment. Compensation and Benefits The salary ranges are provided by location and may vary based on candidate experience, expertise, and geographic location. This role is eligible for a competitive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance, 401(k) retirement plan, flexible spending & health savings accounts, paid holidays, and paid time off. Salary ranges are listed below by location and zone: San Jose, CA (Zone 1): $197,600 — $247,500 USD Draper, UT (Zone 3): $168,000 — $210,400 USD Zone 2 (CA non-SF Bay Area and LA, Austin, MA): $177,800 — $222,800 USD Zone 1- SF Bay Area, NYC, Seattle, LA: $197,600 — $247,500 USD What’s in it for you?
