Overview
Faculty nocturnist opportunities at a world-renowned hospital on Long Island. Seven-on/Seven-off schedule with 12-hour shifts. Nocturnist coverage involves residents on shift and collaboration within a teaching environment. Responsibilities
Provide nocturnist coverage in a closed ICU; no procedures or intubations required. Manage 20–35 nightly encounters with three physicians on shift; 8–15 admissions per night. Utilize Epic EMR with strong support from ICU physicians and Clinical Alert Nurses. Coordinate admissions with Internal Medicine residents; admissions distributed with support from Internal Medicine residents.
