The State Income Tax Manager will play a critical role in managing state filing requirements across multiple jurisdictions, identifying tax savings and planning opportunities, monitoring nexus exposure, and ensuring accuracy and timeliness in all state-related filings.### **JOB REQUIREMENTS:*** Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.* Minimum 8 years related work experience, including 5+ years of state corporate income tax experience.* In-depth knowledge of state income/franchise tax laws, apportionment methodologies, and nexus/unitary rules.* Experience with tax provision and compliance software (e.g., Corptax, OneSource).* Strong research, analytical, and communication skills.* Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a dynamic environment**PREFERRED JOB REQUIREMENTS:*** Insurance or financial services industry experience preferred.* CPAPlease note that this role is **HYBRID** with an in-office requirement of 3 days a week.#LI-LK1#LI-Hybrid#INJLF### ### **Pay Transparency Statement:**At Health Care Service Corporation, you will be part of an organization committed to offering meaningful benefits to our employees to support their life outside of work.
