Overview
The Index Options Team is seeking a Senior Index Volatility Trader to contribute to volatility valuation, detailed execution, and fast-growing technology. This individual will contribute to pricing volatility and taking market risks, with the aim of growing into a leading volatility trading desk in the marketplace.
Your Core Responsibilities
Maximize revenue by identifying and monetizing short and long-term mispricing, as well as managing the resulting positions
Take on responsibility and ownership of your executions to drive the Index Options strategy forward
Collaborate with the team to develop a deep level of expertise and innovation in the Index Options space
Your Skills and Experience
2+ years of experience as an Index Volatility Trader
Demonstrated success managing positions and risk for a large Index Options Desk
Experience with programming, preferably in Python
Proven ability to work in a fast-paced and competitive environment with an entrepreneurial mindset
Deep understanding of analytics and the fundamental drivers of volatility dynamics
BS, MS, or PhD, preferably in business, economics, or STEM is required
The Base Salary range for the role is included below. Base salary is only one component of total compensation; all full-time, permanent positions are eligible for a discretionary bonus and benefits, including paid leave and insurance. Salary Range: $175,000 — $250,000 USD
