Concentra Physiatrist / Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Specialist
Concentra, one of the largest healthcare companies in the nation, is seeking a Physiatrist / Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Specialist to join us as a 1099 independent contractor. This contract role is designed to complement your current practice, involving patient treatment on site at Concentra for approximately a 4-hour shift weekly or biweekly.
Role Overview Our Advanced Specialists assist in managing medically complex patients, facilitating return to work and functional restoration. Collaborating with medical and therapy providers, you will offer specialist services, which may include EMGs and NCS, for orthopedic and neuromusculoskeletal work-related injuries. You will also communicate with employers and actively participate in case management, making a significant impact on patients' lives.
Responsibilities
Provide patient care during half a day per week or biweekly shifts.
Maintain flexible scheduling to accommodate your private practice commitments.
This role is an independent contractor position, with compensation based on a revenue share model.
Qualifications
Preferred experience in treating patients with work-related injuries.
Licensure in the state of practice.
Graduate of an accredited MD or DO program.
Unrestricted DEA license for the state of jurisdiction.
Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.
Medical Malpractice Insurance coverage for on-site work.
