Responsibilities of Role
The Staff Product Manager is a senior individual contributor responsible for defining and driving the strategy, planning, and execution oversight for a portfolio of internal technology products. This role partners with business stakeholders, engineering teams, and senior leaders to deliver solutions that generate measurable business value. It oversees the entire product lifecycle from ideation to operations and serves as the primary liaison between Corporate Technology and customers to deliver solutions on the ServiceNow platform. The role requires strong product leadership, cross-functional influence, and a balance of strategic vision with pragmatic execution. Product Strategy & Vision
Own the vision and value proposition for a portfolio of business enablement products built on the ServiceNow platform Define product strategies and multi-year roadmaps aligned with enterprise goals and customer priorities Act as a domain expert across multiple product areas, using data, user insights, and market knowledge to guide decisions Develop core product positioning, messaging, and strategic narratives for executive stakeholders Product Planning & Delivery Oversight
Create and maintain 12–24-month product roadmaps that deliver measurable business value Lead PRD development, prioritizing features based on user needs, business goals, and technical feasibility Oversee the full product lifecycle from ideation through sustainment Collaborate with agile delivery teams and Product Owners to ensure successful planning and execution Stakeholder & Partner Engagement
Build trusted relationships with business partners and segment leaders as the primary contact for product direction and prioritization Facilitate alignment between enterprise technology and business partners to meet evolving needs Identify opportunities for external partnerships, licensing, or integrations Escalate complex inquiries and manage cross-team dependencies Market Awareness & Competitive Landscape
Maintain understanding of competitive landscape and industry trends Conduct landscape analyses and present to inform strategic planning Lead or support pilots and beta programs to validate market fit Partner with stakeholders to develop long-term plans and budgets Manage budgets, forecasts, and cost models to support sustainable operations Leadership, Coaching & Standards Development
Share best practices and templates across teams Mentor product managers, owners, and analysts Lead cross-functional initiatives requiring coordination and influence Key Attributes
