Overview
Hirsh Law Group is seeking a full-time Immigration Attorney with a minimum of two (2) years of experience in family-based immigration, humanitarian-based immigration, and removal proceedings to work closely with the Supervising Attorney in expanding the firm's immigration division. Hirsh Law Group immigration is an emerging division within an established criminal law firm. To be considered, the candidate must be fluent in both English and Spanish. The Immigration Attorney will be responsible for providing legal counsel on immigration issues, preparing and filing visa applications, and representing clients in immigration interviews and hearings. The role involves thorough research, preparation of legal documents, and court appearances to support clients in their immigration processes. Qualifications
Strong understanding of legal concepts and issues in U.S. immigration law Familiarity with the following forms and processes: EOIR-42A, EOIR-42B, BIA appeals, I-589, I-130, Family-Based Adjustment of Status, I-765, VAWA, U-visa, DACA, N-400, etc. Exceptional client service skills and ability to work collaboratively with a team Excellent verbal and written communication skills Organizational and time management skills Strong attention to detail Proficiency in using Microsoft Word and Adobe Acrobat Pro Candidates must be fluent in English and Spanish Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school Member of a state bar, in good standing Minimum two (2) years of experience Benefits
Pay: Starting at $95,000. Negotiable depending on experience. 401(k) Health insurance Dental insurance Paid time off Typically, three (3) days per week remote Schedule
Monday to Friday Typical business hours: 9 AM – 5 PM Work Location: Typically, three (3) days per week remote, one day in Downtown Chicago, and one day in Carol Stream.
