Board-Certified Colorectal Surgeon
to join our esteemed
General Surgery Practice , focusing on building a
new colorectal subspecialty service line
within the Toledo market. This is an extraordinary opportunity to be a pivotal part of a growing service, shaping its future while providing high-quality, compassionate care to patients in the community.
As a
Fellowship-Trained Colorectal Surgeon , preferably
Board-Certified in Colon and Rectal Surgery , you will have the unique opportunity to build and lead a colorectal practice with strong collaborative ties to oncology and other surgical services. This role offers the chance to engage in a highly rewarding, innovative practice in a well-supported environment.

Key Responsibilities :
Provide comprehensive care to colorectal patients, including initial consultations, the development of surgical plans, surgery, and follow-up visits. Work collaboratively with a highly skilled team of specialists, including
oncology ,
general surgery , and other surgical services, ensuring the best possible patient care. Teach and mentor residents in the
General Surgery Residency Program , contributing to the academic and clinical growth of the next generation of surgeons. Ensure continuity of care by coordinating follow-up care and collaborating with oncology and other services to meet the evolving needs of patients. Deliver a full range of colorectal services, leveraging advanced technology and a robust support system to optimize patient outcomes.
Qualifications :
Board-Certified General Surgeon
with
Fellowship training in Colorectal Surgery . Board Certification
in Colon and Rectal Surgery is preferred. Strong passion for providing
comprehensive care
and building a subspecialty service. Experience or interest in
teaching
and mentoring within a residency program. Proven ability to work collaboratively in a
team-oriented
environment. Commitment to
excellent patient care
and a patient-centered approach.
