Cloud and Fullstack Application Developer - Medical Imaging at Heartflow. Design, develop, document, validate, and maintain robust and scalable web applications for the review and manipulation of 3D medical images. Develop and design cloud-based services. Improve our existing infrastructure and tooling: algorithmic pipelines, test frameworks and CI/CD pipelines. Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code. Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices. Participate with the rest of the team in release activities, as well as monitoring and supporting production. Participate in cross-functional conversations with Product team, Process Engineering team, and other stakeholders for product design and clinical validations. Occasional on-call duty and application deployment responsibilities. Qualifications
Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field; advanced degree preferred. 3+ years of relevant industry experience in web application development. Experience with modern web frameworks (Vue.js preferred). Excellent understanding of software development best practices: testing, CI/CD, agile methodologies. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. How you stand out
Experience with cloud-based infrastructure (Amazon Web Services or equivalent) for web application deployment. Experience with CDK or Terraform Experience with WebGL or other 3D graphics libraries. Experience with algorithm development Experience with Python, C++, Rust Experience building regulated products, such as Software as a Medical Device, in accordance with FDA regulations. Salary and Benefits
A reasonable estimate of the base salary compensation range is $130,000 to $200,000 (for San Francisco Bay Area), cash bonus, and equity. Equal Opportunity
