Exclusive Gastroenterology Locum Opportunity in Southwestern Oregon

Partnered with a medical center in southwestern Oregon, there is an exclusive opportunity for a qualified Gastroenterologist to provide locum coverage. Opportunity Highlights: Schedule: 1 week per month + every weekend Shift Times: 7a-7p Call: 7p-7a, as needed Daily Volume: 10-12 consults, 5-6 scopes 3-4 ERCP consults per week Advanced procedures required Support Staff: Endo nursing manager, endo techs, anesthesia EMR: Epic Must be board-certified Paid travel & expenses During your time off, enjoy exploring a revitalized downtown district, attending regional theater plays or concerts, and kayaking or rafting on nearby rivers. Qualifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) NIH certification Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology Active, unencumbered Gastroenterologist Internal Medicine Missouri state license Graduated from an accredited MD or DO program Minimum of one year of experience as a Gastroenterologist One year of EMR experience Board Certified Skills/Abilities/Competencies Required: Maintain and update clinical knowledge and skills Participate in continuing education programs Commitment to high-quality patient care and service excellence Ability to exercise independent judgment and problem-solving skills Team-oriented attitude with the ability to work independently and collaboratively Effective communication and organizational skills, with flexibility to handle multiple tasks Requirements: COVID-19 vaccination, including 2 shots and a booster About Healthcare Staffing Plus: Healthcare Staffing Plus is a US-based national staffing agency specializing in per diem, local contract, and locum tenens placements.
