What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
Develop, implement, and manage strategic initiatives related to Alzheimer’s Disease and Related Dementia (ADRD)
Coordinate work groups and task forces to address community needs and prevent duplication of services
Oversee the development and updating of the Alzheimer’s Disease State Plan
Manage grant and fiscal responsibilities for ADRD program contracts and budgets
Provide guidance and technical assistance to local public health departments concerning dementia program activities
What is Required (Qualifications)
Bachelor's degree in Public Health or a related field
Minimum of 4 years of professional experience, including 2 years in Alzheimer's Disease and Related Dementia
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Strong skills in grant writing and resource management
Valid driver's license
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
Master's degree in a related field may substitute for 1 year of professional experience
Experience in strategic planning and program evaluation related to public health
