About the Role:
The Financing Quantitative Analytics & Development team at our banking client in New York City builds high-performance systems that power funding optimization, lending solutions, inventory and collateral management, Delta-1 products pricing, and risk management. We work at the intersection of markets, technology, and quantitative research—delivering scalable tools that directly impact trading desks and clients.
You must have valid US work authorization and must physically reside around the posted city, within a 50-mile commute. We are unable to support relocation costs.

Key Responsibilities:
Design and implement scalable data and analytics solutions for prime brokerage, Delta-1 trading, funding, lending, and collateral optimization.
Develop tools for client analysis, risk reduction, inventory management, and balance sheet efficiency.
Build systems to explain Profit & Loss (P&L), risk, and OTC product pricing—including models for inventory impact, funding, and trading axes.
Contribute to system architecture and design discussions, with a focus on scalability, performance, and reliability.
Required Skills and Experience:
1 - 10+ years of professional programming skills in Python and SQL.
Experience with UNIX environments and scripting.
Proven background in software engineering, data pipeline development, and visualization.
Track record of delivering high-performance, production-quality solutions.
Familiarity with the full software development lifecycle (SDLC).
Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or a related field.
Knowledge of funding and lending markets, Delta-1 products, P&L measures, and balance sheet dynamics is a strong plus.

The base salary range for this role is $90,000 - $160,000
