As a Senior Manager in EY’s Technology practice, you will interact with business stakeholders to evaluate and analyze business models, processes, and operations. You will translate business requirements into technical specifications and ensure that newly implemented technology solutions meet these requirements. Your collaboration with technical teams will be crucial in designing and delivering effective system architecture solutions. What you’ll do
Leading engagement delivery and managing client relationships on a daily basis. Overseeing program/project management and ensuring engagement economics are met. Developing resource plans and budgets for complex engagements. Leading large-scale SAP client engagements or work streams, ensuring alignment with client objectives. Demonstrating in-depth technical capabilities and possessing strong business acumen. Staying abreast of current business and industry trends relevant to the client’s business and demonstrating the ability to assimilate to new knowledge. Consistently delivering high-quality client services by monitoring progress, managing risks, and keeping key stakeholders informed of developments and expected outcomes. Building and maintaining relationships with client personnel at all levels to foster collaboration and trust. Effectively leading and motivating diverse teams, providing constructive feedback and coaching. Fostering an innovative, inclusive, and team-oriented work environment while mentoring junior consultants. Identifying and generating new business opportunities by understanding EY’s service lines and proactively assessing ways to meet client needs. Cultivating long-term client relationships and collaborating with team members across EY practices to serve client needs. Skills and attributes for success
On engagements, you will work with key stakeholders to understand needs and advise on SAP system capabilities. You will initiate requirement gathering, architect solutions, blueprinting, testing, and complete the workflow and documentation, as well as the functional design of the solution. Liaise with stakeholders and the technical team to translate needs into business solutions and complete configurations and/or integrations with SAP and non-SAP systems. Strong technical skills in application functional design and technology business requirements definition. Proven ability to analyze and map technology cost-benefit scenarios. Expertise in system configuration design and business architecture frameworks. Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence and negotiate effectively. Qualifications
A Bachelor’s degree; a Master’s degree is preferred. Typically, 5 - 7 years of relevant experience. At least five (5) years of experience in SAP Production Planning (PP) within a functional consulting or system configuration role. Strong written and verbal communication, presentation, client service and technical writing skills. Proven experience managing SAP projects or work streams, including oversight of project-based team members. Knowledge of best practices in supply chain, along with benchmarking and advisory experience related to supply chain-specific technology functions. Ability and comfort-level researching client inquiries and emerging issues, including regulations, industry practices and new technologies. A willingness to travel to meet client needs; travel is estimated at 40-60%. Experience in conducting technology cost-benefit analyses. Familiarity with technology business architecture frameworks. Skills in training design and delivery. Ideally, you’ll also have
Prior consulting industry experience. SAP certification(s). Experience as a workstream/team lead for manufacturing with SAP. Experience with at least two full lifecycle implementations of SAP ERP (ECC and/or S/4HANA) specifically working with the SAP Production Planning (PP) module. Experience with at least one full lifecycle implementation with SAP Material Requirement Planning (MRP). Experience integrating SAP PP with a Manufacturing Execution System (MES) and SAP Quality Management (QM). Experience performing hands-on SAP system configuring in PP. Experience designing custom RICEF solutions and writing functional specifications. Experience writing and executing test scripts. Experience writing and delivering training materials for end users. Knowledge of integration between SAP PP and: FICO, EWM, PPDS, PLM systems, MDM tools, Materials Management (Inventory Management and Procurement). Knowledge of manufacturing operations, including complex industrial equipment and assembly line operations. Knowledge of product lifecycle management, including Engineering BOMs and Manufacturing BOMs. Experience with Make to Stock and Make/Engineer/Configure to Order models. What we look for

We offer a comprehensive compensation and benefits package with a base salary range for this job in all US locations of $171,600 to $392,100. The NYC Metro, WA, and CA ranges are higher. Salaries are determined by education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography. Total Rewards include medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k), and paid time off options. Hybrid model: most client-facing roles are expected to work on-site 40-60% of the time over engagements, projects, or year.
