Technical, engineering, logistics, cyber support for the AN/USQ-219 Tactical Common Data Link (TCDL) and AN/USQ-247 Maritime Shipboard Terminal (MST) on Littoral Combat Ships (LCS) Job Description
Candidate will support the Naval Information Warfare Center Pacific (NIWC PAC) and provide In-Service-Engineering-Activity (ISEA) functions for Tactical Data Links (TDL) and related systems sponsored by PEO-C4I. Support will include the following areas of expertise: Technical Assistance Fleet In-Service Engineering Support Maintenance Support In-Service Risk Management Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) Technical oversight of commercial/non-governmental In-Service engineering activities Configuration Management Readiness and Life Cycle Analysis Technical Documentation Development and Reliability/Availability and Maintainability (RAM) reporting and metrics Responsibilities
Support NIWC PAC with In-Service-Engineering-Activity (ISEA) functions for TDL and related systems Provide technical assistance and maintenance support for specified data link systems Manage in-service risk and readiness analyses Oversee integrated logistics support and configuration management Develop technical documentation and RAM metrics Minimum Qualifications
Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Security Clearance- Secret Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future 10 years' experience supporting Navy Tactical Communications Systems and Data Links Bachelor's Degree Preferred Qualifications
Master's Degree Logistics DAWIA Level III certified or equivalent Previous Navy Operations Specialist (OS) or Information Systems Technician (IT) rating with link experience Candidate will possess logistics knowledge of the following data and communications link equipment and related systems: Communication Data Link System (CDLS) Network Tactical Common Data Link (NTCDL) Tactical Common Data Link (TCDL)- AN/USQ-219 Maritime Surface Terminal (MST)- AN/USQ-247 Intelligence Carry-On Program (ICOP) systems Naval Tactical Command Support System (NTCSS), and current or future Link related systems Security Clearance
Applicants must have an active security clearance and/or the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance as specified in the minimum qualifications. Selected candidates will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements to obtain a DoD government-granted security clearance.
