Organization & Department Overview The Information Services Group (ISG) provides authoritative sources of reference data to clients across the Institutional Client Services (ICG) organization, deploying state-of-the-art technologies and operational processes to promote the collection, storage, analysis, and distribution of product, pricing, account, and corporate action data. The ISG works with data clients across all ICG business lines to increase competitiveness by restructuring business processes, simplifying information access, and providing business intelligence around critical data. The project management team is responsible for managing projects, staffing, and budgets that include foundational product & pricing coverage extensions and integrations with Front, Middle, and Back office systems, involving communication with multiple teams, managing complex dependencies, and packaging status reporting across cross-functional areas. Job description Work with business stakeholders and IT partners outside ISG to execute projects and deliver business solutions Manage IT and Reference Data projects across several teams Create and manage project plans across complex cross-functional teams Document and communicate project status, risks, issues, and mitigation plans Collect requirements, structure information, create system flows, and depict current state dependencies to provide project documentation Prepare and communicate senior management reports on program status and metrics Collaborate with IT and Operations partners to identify areas requiring monitoring and create business-as-usual (BAU) processes Manage Panorama (internal delivery management tool) to ensure staffing, deliverables, and status reporting for in-flight programs Manage client data inquiries and issues Required Skills
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, MIS, or related fields, specialized training or equivalent work experience 6+ years’ experience in a related technology role and SME in the field Working experience of 5+ years minimum as a Project Manager Financial knowledge on securities across multiple asset classes (equities, fixed income, mortgages, etc.) Strong experience with Atlassian and MS Office, especially JIRA, MS Visio, MS Project, MS PowerPoint Strong experience with project plans, RIAD logs, PowerPoint presentations, and senior communications Experience/understanding of business process reengineering and business modeling concepts, business systems development and analysis Strong analytical and writing skills, including experience in writing functional and technical specifications Excellent verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate to senior audiences Ability to produce high-quality work under pressure Preferred Skills
Banking technology program management lead experience Strong analytical and writing skills, including experience in writing functional and technical specifications Strong teamwork skills in both small local settings and across geographic locations Experience with network diagrams and architecture diagrams Experience with the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), including Waterfall and Agile methodologies This job description provides a high-level review of the types of work performed.
