Tallahassee, Florida (Onsite only) Experienced Enterprise Architect to lead modernization initiatives on VB.NET and ASP.NET. Provide technical guidance in application architecture, development, and support. Deep expertise in Microsoft technologies, cloud environments, and CI/CD pipelines. Mentor and provide guidance to junior developers/programmers. Responsibilities
Experienced Enterprise Architect to lead modernization initiatives on VB.NET and ASP.NET. Provide technical guidance in application architecture, development, and support. Deep expertise in Microsoft technologies, cloud environments, and CI/CD pipelines. Mentor and provide guidance to junior developers/programmers. Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities (KSAs)
10+ years’ experience with MS Visual Studio, focusing on VB.NET and ASP.NET. 7+ years’ experience with MS SQL Server databases, T-SQL, SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), and database performance tuning. Proficiency in developing complex queries, database objects (DML/DDL), and relational/OO database designs. Strong knowledge of architectural design patterns (MVC), database security (role-based security), and Information Systems Development Methodology (ISDM). Experience with Cloud environments (preferably Azure). Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and modern DevOps practices. Familiarity with Agile development frameworks, specifically Scrum, Extreme Programming (XP), and Kanban. Additional KSAs
Microsoft certifications (MCSD, MCTS, or similar). Experience moderating and leveraging Azure DevOps. Working knowledge of C# development. Experience using code repositories, preferably Git. Experience with web development technologies (XML, CSS). Experience with Unified Modeling (UML). Knowledge of environmental regulatory business processes and practices. Education
Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent work experience. Company Description
