Michigan State University in collaboration with McLaren Greater Lansing and Karmanos Cancer Institute is recruiting a Hematology/Oncology physician in Lansing, Michigan. Join a team of five board certified Hematologists/Oncologists at McLaren Greater Lansing/Karmanos Cancer Network's new hospital campus adjacent to Michigan State University’s campus. This position is an academic-based practice with Karmanos, serving as faculty to the McLaren/MSU Hematology-Oncology fellowship program which graduates three fellows per year. On-site support includes clinical pharmacists, lab, clinical trial coordinators, certified genetic counselors, nurse navigators, social workers and financial navigators. Qualified candidates will be BE/BC. This opportunity will include participation in education of medical students at Michigan State University’s College of Human Medicine, rotating Internal Medicine residents, and hematology/oncology fellows. The candidate is expected to participate in clinical trials. As a founding member of the NSABP and a member of SWOG, MSU has an expanding community-based medical school, and growing hematology/oncology clinical and translational research division. Our active clinical trials program includes cooperative group, industry supported and investigator-initiated trials with our Karmanos partners. Responsibilities

Participate in education of medical students, rotating Internal Medicine residents, and hematology/oncology fellows. Participate in clinical trials (cooperative group, industry, and investigator-initiated) with Karmanos partners. Provide patient care within an academic-based hematology/oncology program. Collaborate with on-site teams including pharmacists, genetic counselors, nurse navigators, social workers, and financial counselors. Contribute to resident and fellow education and program development. Qualifications

BE/BC in hematology/oncology. Academic appointment with MSU/Karmanos; eligible for faculty appointment and participation in the fellowship program. Facility Highlights
