Overview
As the
Director of Facilities Operations , you will oversee all aspects of hospital facilities management ensuring a
safe, efficient, and compliant environment
that supports exceptional patient care. You will manage preventive and corrective maintenance programs, regulatory compliance, capital projects, and a multidisciplinary facilities team. Responsibilities
Lead and manage all aspects of hospital facilities operations, including building maintenance, utilities, and infrastructure. Direct
preventive and corrective maintenance
programs to ensure optimal performance and reliability of hospital systems. Ensure compliance with
Joint Commission, OSHA, NFPA, and other federal, state, and local regulations . Oversee capital improvement projects, renovations, and construction in collaboration with hospital leadership and external contractors. Recruit, train, and manage a skilled facilities team, ensuring professional growth and high performance. Partner with hospital administration to support operational and patient care goals. Maintain emergency preparedness plans, hospital safety programs, and sustainability initiatives. Qualifications
Bachelor\'s degree
in Engineering, Facilities Management, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience considered. 5+ years of progressive leadership experience in healthcare facilities management. Strong knowledge of
The Joint Commission, OSHA, NFPA, and healthcare compliance standards . Proven success in managing capital projects, construction, and vendor relationships. Certified Healthcare Facility Manager (CHFM) preferred, or willingness to obtain. Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Why Join Us
