The University of South Florida (USF) Department of Surgery and Tampa General Hospital (TGH) are seeking a breast surgical oncologist to join the Division of Surgical Oncology. This is a full‑time faculty appointment with attending staff privileges at Tampa General Hospital (TGH) and affiliated hospitals. Responsibilities
Actively participate in didactic education of multiple learners including residents, fellows, and medical students. Supervise, mentor, and train surgical residents and fellows. Work with a multidisciplinary team, including medical and radiation oncology faculty. Minimum qualifications
Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution or the highest degree appropriate in the field with a demonstrated record of achievement in teaching, academic research, and service. Must meet university criteria for appointment to the rank of Assistant Professor. Current, unrestricted medical licensure in the State of Florida or eligible for unrestricted licensure in Florida. Board Certified in General Surgery or Board Eligible in General Surgery. Preferred qualifications
Completed medical degree, board eligible or board certified in General Surgery and completed a breast or surgical oncology fellowship. Health care provider in good standing with Medicare, Medicaid, and other federal/state health insurance programs. Position includes a competitive salary and benefits package. About USF
