Overview
The MedStar Health Georgetown University Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation residency program is excited to recruit our next outstanding residency program director. The successful candidate will have relevant graduate medical education (GME) experience as an associate program director or program director. This role may include possible future opportunities to become involved in GME at the health system level. Clinical work will be dependent on the candidate's areas of expertise/interest and the needs of the department. Responsibilities
Provide leadership and strategic direction for the residency program, including GME initiatives and program development. Oversee educational activities, assessment, and accreditation readiness in collaboration with Georgetown University and MedStar Health. Coordinate clinical rotations, resident schedules, and faculty development, aligned with program goals. Collaborate with health system leadership on GME-related opportunities and resource planning. Qualifications
Relevant GME experience as an associate program director or program director. Clinical expertise aligned with the department's needs and program objectives. Compensation and Benefits
This position offers a hiring range of $325,000-$360,000. In addition to salary, MedStar Health provides a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision insurance, paid malpractice coverage, generous paid time off, CME leave with an annual $4,000 CME allowance, retirement plan options with employer match, access to physician concierge services, life insurance, short and long-term disability coverage, and other employee benefits.
