Lead Luxury Builds - Join Timeline Design+Build as a Site Manager! Position Title: Site Manager Company Name: Timeline Design+Build Pay Range: $40-$55 per hour (depending on experience) Location: Bay Area, CA (On-site) Industry: Residential Construction / Remodeling Summary: Timeline Design+Build is seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee on-site operations for high-end residential construction projects. This role is hands-on and leadership-driven, ensuring every project is completed on time, within budget, and to the company\'s exacting standards of craftsmanship. As the primary on-site leader, you will coordinate subcontractors, manage workflows, and serve as the face of Timeline Design+Build to clients—ensuring a safe, organized, and high-quality build from start to finish. We are an established Bay Area design-build firm committed to integrity, innovation, and end-to-end service. Key Responsibilities
Project Execution & Supervision
Direct all on-site construction activities in alignment with architectural and structural plans. Proactively identify and resolve project challenges to maintain schedule and budget. Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, inspections, and labor hours for optimal efficiency. Conduct regular quality control checks to ensure work meets company and client standards.
On-Site Management
Maintain a safe, organized, and efficient job site at all times. Enforce OSHA and company safety regulations. Lead by example, ensuring adherence to best practices and craftsmanship standards.
Documentation & Reporting
Maintain accurate daily logs and weekly job reports detailing progress, labor use, and site conditions. Track safety reports, inspections, and material deliveries.
Client & Team Communication
Serve as the on-site representative, fostering strong client relationships. Provide regular updates to the project management team on progress and potential adjustments. Address client concerns promptly and professionally.
Safety & Quality Control
Conduct site safety meetings and enforce compliance protocols. Ensure all construction meets or exceeds quality expectations. Assist in post-project warranty and maintenance requests as needed.
Qualifications
Education:
High school diploma or GED required; vocational training in construction management preferred. Experience:
7+ years in custom residential construction, preferably with prior experience as a Lead Carpenter. Skills:
Proven leadership and organizational ability. Expert knowledge of construction techniques, materials, and tools. Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings. Comprehensive knowledge of residential building codes. Proficient communication skills, both verbal and written. Hands-on carpentry and general construction experience. Familiarity with Co-Construct, Buildertrend, or similar construction software a plus.
Physical Requirements:
Lift and carry up to 70 lbs. Work on ladders and in confined spaces. Operate power tools safely and efficiently. Stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks.
