Job Purpose As a Pre-Sales Product Specialist, you will support pre-sales strategy by helping sales showcase the value of Great Minds curricula. You will create and deliver sales presentations and pilot trainings, and tailor content to address regional and district-specific needs in collaboration with the Sales and Success Go-to-Market teams. This role is an exceptional opportunity for skilled teachers, instructional coaches, or pre-sales specialists who are experienced in implementing a high-quality curriculum, to contribute to Great Minds’ mission to ensure all students have access to high-quality, knowledge-based education. Reports To Manager, Pre-Sales Product Specialists Responsibilities Deliver compelling, market-driven sales presentations that communicate the value of Great Minds curricula. Collaborate with field sales team members (RSMs, ASDs, ARs) to customize presentations based on regional and account strategies. Partner with ASMs in pre-sales conversations to explore solutions opportunities and pilot options. Deliver persuasive sales presentations and support pre-sales efforts, including strategy development, training, and preparation activities. Facilitate pilot training sessions for educators and provide ongoing support to ensure successful pilot implementation aligned with account strategies. Demonstrate deep knowledge of Great Minds products and connect them to educational trends, district priorities, and instructional best practices. Collaborate effectively with internal sales teams while taking initiative and working independently. Stay current on educational trends, priorities, and pedagogy to inform strategic sales initiatives and client interactions. Deliver live pre-sales webinars customized to district needs. Handle customer questions and overcome objections. Utilize knowledge of competitors’ products to better position Great Minds products. Requirements At least 3 years of experience teaching, coaching, or pre-sales support. Experience working in educational sales or curriculum implementation. Proficiency with or alignment to Great Minds instructional design and pedagogy. Engaging presentation and communication skills. Deep understanding of educational curricula and instructional strategies. Ability to build rapport with educators and stakeholders at all levels. Strong organizational habits for goal setting, project management, decision making, deadlines, and record keeping. Ability to make solutions-oriented decisions in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment. Digital literacy, including Microsoft Office, Zoom, Slack, and PowerPoint. Travel The Pre-Sales Product Specialist may travel up to 80% of the time during peak sales periods. Based on regional needs, occasional travel beyond this region is possible. A valid driver’s license and willingness to fly and drive are required. Must reside near a major airport. Required Education Bachelor’s degree Location Remote (Preferred locations: East of the Mississippi River; candidates should be open to supporting Pre-Sales efforts in the Central/East United States) The base salary range for this position is $80,000-$94,000, and the offer may be higher or lower based on location, experience, and other factors. Salary excludes benefits or other incentives. A cover letter and resume are required to be considered.
