Three Trails Behavioral Health is currently seeking a dynamic Chief Executive Officer (CEO) with a proven track record in providing services at a for-profit Behavioral Health Hospital or Residential Treatment Program, or experience managing a large Psychiatric/Behavioral Health department within a large Acute Care Hospital. Candidates must demonstrate a strong employment history with progressive growth throughout their career. The ideal CEO will be responsible for directing daily operations, managing and developing staff, ensuring high-quality care, maintaining sound fiscal operations, fostering a strong referral base, and ensuring compliance with Joint Commission and CMS regulations. The CEO will also continually monitor the facility's services and delivery systems.
Job Duties :
Foster an environment and culture aligned with the organization’s mission, vision, and values.
Manage clinical and non-clinical departments including Nursing, Admissions, Business Development, Process Improvement, Finance, Clinical Services, and Regulatory Affairs to drive patient care outcomes effectively.
Achieve hospital quality metrics by implementing sound clinical processes in compliance with accreditation and regulatory guidelines.
Recruit physicians and staff in targeted specialty areas, coordinate medical staff participation in new hospital ventures, and develop new medical care services.
Supervise the development of outpatient care and ambulatory programs.
Build positive relationships with local industry, government, healthcare providers, and the community.
Ensure timely submission of financial and operational reports, and participate in strategic planning efforts.
Communicate operational circumstances and events to supervisors and relevant stakeholders.
Meet or exceed budgeted financial objectives.
Negotiate contracts effectively and ensure compliance with payor community standards.
Increase revenues, manage costs, and improve financial margins and operational efficiency.
Implement census building strategies and strategic planning initiatives.
Qualifications Requirements :
Bachelor's Degree required; Master’s Degree preferred.
Current experience as a behavioral health executive, such as a CEO at a behavioral health facility or a Director of a large acute care facility with a sizable psychiatric department.
Knowledge of behavioral health management practices and clinical operations.
Deep understanding of state and federal regulatory and accreditation requirements related to behavioral health.
Proficiency in operations, financial management, and marketing strategies.
Ability to travel at least 10% of the time.
