# SAP CO StreamleadHeidelberg08-09-2025# Job Description# **Freelance S/4 CO Stream Lead (German speaking)**Join one of the most ambitious S/4HANA transformations in the automotive industry. Our client, a **global automotive parts manufacturer partnering with the biggest names in the sector**, is moving from ECC 6.0 to **S/4HANA Private Cloud**. This is a long-term programme with global scope and a fantastic leadership team.**Start date**: ASAP
**End date**: October 2027
**Location**: Hybrid (onsite in Stuttgart for 2 days every other week)
**Utilisation**: 3/4 days per week

**Industry**: Automotive Manufacturing### **What you can expect**YOU lead the **CO Stream** across a highly complex S/4HANA programme, taking ownership of Margin Analysis and Product Costing.YOU drive the transformation from ECC to S/4YOU define, harmonise and implement **ONE-Controlling Area**, cost center structures, activity and order types.YOU deliver **full-scope Margin Analysis** and support transition until costing-based CO-PA is phased out.YOU oversee implementation of **Material Ledger** as a subledger, and introduce **Actual Costing** where applicable.YOU lead the transition of **Profit Center Accounting and Functional Areas** into the general ledger, ensuring harmonisation and compliance.### **What you offer**YOU bring **deep expertise in SAP CO**, with a proven track record as a **Stream Lead** in large-scale S/4 transformations.YOU have extensive experience in **CO-PA, CO-PC and CO-PCA**, and strong knowledge of **margin analysis and product costing**.YOU understand both the **strategic and hands-on aspects** of transformation and can guide teams through complex CO scope decisions.YOU have excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence across global stakeholders.YOU are fluent in **German** and comfortable engaging with both business and IT at senior levels.### **Closing**This is a **career-defining opportunity** to lead a strategically critical CO transformation within one of Germany’s largest automotive manufacturers.
