HonorHealth, a distinguished non-profit health system in the Scottsdale/Phoenix metro area, is seeking a Fellowship-Trained Cardiac Critical Care Cardiologist to join its dynamic Cardiovascular Institute at the acclaimed Shea Medical Center in North Scottsdale.
This is a rare opportunity to become part of a high-performing cardiovascular team within a clinically advanced CVICU program, backed by a physician-led culture, robust infrastructure, and a collaborative environment where program development is supported and encouraged.
Position Highlights
Join a dedicated 12-bed CVICU, managing complex cardiovascular patients including post-cardiac surgical, mechanical circulatory support, ECMO, and shock patients
Expertise in managing Advanced Heart Failure and LVAD patients is highly valued
Days-only schedule: Four 10-hour shifts per week; nights covered by experienced APPs with strong ICU support and physician backup
Collaborative, experienced team of Cardiothoracic Surgeons with excellent clinical outcomes and long-standing stability
Strong interdisciplinary teamwork—HonorHealth embraces a "team sport" culture, where collaboration between cardiac surgeons, intensivists, cardiologists, APPs, and nursing is paramount
Active Cardiology, Interventional Cardiology, and Electrophysiology Fellowships
Access to research infrastructure through the HonorHealth Research & Innovation Institute for those interested in investigator-initiated or industry-sponsored trials

Board-Certified in Cardiology and Fellowship-Trained in Critical Care or Board-C certified in Cardiac Critical Care
Proficient in managing complex CVICU patients, including those with mechanical support and post-surgical needs
Experience or strong interest in Advanced Heart Failure and LVAD management is a plus
Enthusiastic about working in a collaborative, team-based environment with a multidisciplinary focus on excellence
Interest in clinical education and/or research welcomed
