Responsibilities and Duties
Provide independent coverage for the core adult emergency department
Manage a wide range of emergency cases and acute presentations
Collaborate with advanced practice providers for relief coverage during specified hours
Ensure timely and accurate medical assessments, treatments, and interventions
Maintain clear and thorough documentation of patient encounters and care plans
Additional Information
Louisiana medical license required
Board certification in Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, or Internal Medicine required
Trauma experience preferred but not required
Ongoing need for coverage
