We are known for technology leadership and client commitment. This is a hybrid role (three days in the office/two days remote) in Chicago, IL. Interactive Brokers is looking to hire two Trade Surveillance Analysts (temps) for a six-month assignment. Analysts will report to a Compliance Manager and help ensure the firm complies with the Bank Secrecy Act, USA PATRIOT Act, anti-terrorist financing, sanctions, anti-money laundering, and securities laws and regulations. Responsibilities

Conduct account activity reviews (trading, deposits/withdrawals, public domain activity) to determine alignment with IBKR policy. Advise management by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends. Prepare regulatory filings. Contribute to streamlining current processes and identify areas for improvement. Review trading data for suspicious activity or unusual patterns. Qualifications, Skills & Attributes

1-3 years of regulatory compliance experience in an exchange, regulatory organization, broker-dealer, futures commission merchant, or similar organization; or relevant internal audit, legal, accounting, or control functions; alternatively, strong bachelor’s-level credentials with finance, economics, data analytics, or related skills. Strong knowledge of equity and/or exchange-traded derivatives markets (preferred both). Comfort with computers and technology and understanding of how tech applies to business and regulatory problems. Excellent written and verbal communication skills; detail-oriented with strong organizational and project management skills. Ability to work independently and in small teams; multi-task with minimal supervision. FINRA licenses or certifications (e.g., Series 7) are a plus (ACAMS, CFE, CFCS also noted as a plus). This role’s anticipated hourly range is $30.00 to $35.00 based on skills and experience. Company Benefits
