Position Summary The Department of Ophthalmology is seeking a neuro-ophthalmologist (open rank faculty) to join its clinical care team. This position will provide outpatient care at the USF Health Eye Institute and will supervise residents and fellows during their rotations.
Minimum Qualifications
Medical degree from an accredited institution.
Completion of an accredited Ophthalmology or Neurology residency training program.
Must meet university criteria for faculty appointment to the rank of assistant professor, associate or professor.
Candidates must have or be eligible for an unrestricted Florida medical license.
This candidate must obtain credentialing with USF Health and Tampa General Hospital.
Preferred Qualifications
Neuro-ophthalmology clinical experience

Responsibilities
Provide outpatient generalist and neuro-ophthalmology care to patients at the USF Health Eye Institute, including diagnosis, assessment and treatment of ophthalmic conditions.
Respond to clinic messages and tasks in a timely manner.
Resident, fellow and medical student supervision and teaching.
Provide TGH call coverage and perform other duties as assigned by the Department Chair.
