Lead Server

Your Journey
Supervise the day-to-day functions of the restaurant while providing excellent customer service and actively contributing to department requirements and standards
Provide guidance, direction, and support to the server team, leading by example and fostering a positive work environment.
Assign duties and responsibilities to servers, ensuring appropriate coverage and staffing levels based on business needs.
Coach and mentor servers to improve performance, enhance service skills, and achieve service excellence.
Conduct ongoing training sessions on menu knowledge, wine service, upselling techniques, and customer engagement strategies.
Ensure food and beverages are being served in a professional and timely manner
Assist guests with menu selections, providing recommendations and answering questions about ingredients, preparation methods, and dietary restrictions.
Promote menu items, specials, and promotions to guests, using suggestive selling techniques to increase sales and enhance the dining experience.
Maintain cleanliness and organization in the dining area, including clearing and resetting tables, wiping surfaces, and replenishing condiments.
Monitor the set up and maintenance of the venue(s) to ensure all side work is complete
Interact with guests to ensure a positive guest experience
Attend daily pre-shift meetings
Assist with ongoing service training
Assist with the completion of daily shift reports as needed
Deliver on guests’ expectations and have the desire to create WOW moments
Perform additional duties as assigned that may be outside of the normal scope of duties, based on business needs

Must Haves Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
Ability to collaborate in a team environment
Basic communication skills
One year minimum of experience in food and beverage operations
Prior supervisory experience, a plus
Prior micros or other systems experience, a plus
Luxury hotel experience, a plus

Physical Requirements Ability to stand and exercise mobility for extended periods of time during your scheduled shift
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly and for extended periods during the shift
Ability to push and pull food serving equipment and carts weighing up to 200 pounds on a semi-regular basis
