Dothan, Alabama, Endocrinologist Job
Clinical Role:
Seeking a board certified or truly board eligible Fellowship trained Endocrinologist. Hospital employed outpatient only - no inpatient or call responsibilities.
Office hours: Monday-Friday 7:00 AM - 4:30 PM. No weekends required.
Clinic space is shared with 4 other primary care physicians and 3 NPs. Lab and radiology services are provided in-house. Diabetes Education Coordinator will be provided. Opportunity to precept DO medical students, as well as Internal Medicine and Transitional Year Residents. Open to 2025 graduates. J1 and H1B accepted. EPIC: EMR.

Serves over 600,000 in a 75-mile radius. 24/7 Neurosurgery coverage with employed neurosurgeons and 1 fellowship trained neuroendovascular interventionalist.
Medical Hospitalist program provides ED unassigned coverage, care for transfers, and inpatient consults. 28 bed inpatient psychiatric program. Level II trauma center staffed by EM residency trained physicians. One of 3 Comprehensive Stroke Centers in Alabama with a dedicated lab for neuroendovascular procedures that open heart surgery suites. Regions only facility offering TAVR and Watchman procedures. 22 ORs with 2 endovascular suites and open heart surgery suites. Pain Management services provided through OPT services on campus. Accredited Internal Medicine and Transitional Year residency programs. Alabama's first osteopathic medical school, and the first in the U.S. to be developed by a regional medical center. The seventh class of 210 students graduated in May 2023.
