Conduct Failure Mode, Effects, and Criticality Analysis (FMECA) at least in accordance with MIL-STD-1629A Notice 2 and international best practices. Conduct Reliability Prediction Analysis (in accordance with MIL-HDBK-217F Notice 2 or ANSI/VITA 51.1-2008 or later). Conduct Parts Derating and Stress Analysis. Conduct Worst Case Analysis (compliant with TOR-2013-00297). Conduct Stress and Dynamic Analysis Reports. Conduct Single-Event Effects Analysis (SEEA), Power Supply Transient (PST) and Sneak Circuits Analysis (SCA). Prepare failure reports, perform root cause analysis and drive corrective actions. Meet aggressive/accelerated schedule deadlines and coordinate a team of multi-disciplined engineers through the failure analysis process, making recommendations to the Failure Review Board (FRB). Drive reliability improvement efforts and issue resolution with Engineering, Manufacturing, Programs, Material Control, and Quality departments. Review fault isolation and troubleshooting procedures. Develop test procedures, perform functional testing, analyze results and draw conclusions for equipment and systems. Devise new approaches to resolve unusual or complex engineering problems. Support internal and external design and development gate reviews with related documentation. Participate in proposals and trade studies, including evaluating contractor and subcontractor proposals for technical feasibility. Qualifications
Minimum Education / Experience: 6 years with Bachelor’s in Electrical/Electronics Engineering and/or Master’s degree. Hardware/schematic design, analysis/simulations and test experience. Capable of multi-tasking; handling multiple projects and supporting production activities. Ability to learn new technologies quickly.
