Overview
Role Overview: As one of the Founding Account Executives, you’ll play a key role in accelerating their go-to-market motion. You’ll work directly with founders, CFOs, controllers, and heads of finance to help them migrate off legacy systems onto a faster, smarter platform. This is a rare opportunity to join a breakout startup early, close mid-to-enterprise deals, and directly shape the sales process, GTM strategy, and customer experience. Responsibilities
Own full-cycle sales for mid-market and enterprise prospects, from discovery through close Deeply understand customer pain points in accounting, finance, and ERP workflows Lead compelling product demos and ROI-driven conversations with CFOs, controllers, and staff accountants Help prospects navigate technical evaluations, data migrations, and security reviews Consistently exceed quota while contributing to playbook development, forecasting, and pipeline management Collaborate closely with Product, Marketing, and Customer Success to shape the buyer journey Contribute to a high-performance, customer-obsessed sales culture Requirements
3–6 years of quota-carrying SaaS sales experience, ideally in ERP, fintech, or vertical SaaS Experience selling complex products to finance stakeholders (e.g., CFOs, Controllers, Accounting Managers) Proven track record of exceeding quota in a high-velocity or consultative sales motion Comfort leading multi-threaded sales cycles with mid-size to large customers (100–1000+ employees) Ability to clearly articulate technical concepts (GL, rev rec, APIs) in business terms Strong discovery, objection-handling, and closing skills Familiarity with sales methodologies like MEDDIC, SPICED, or Challenger Adaptable, curious, and motivated by building in a fast-paced, early-stage environment Seniority level
