Job Overview

As a

Client Support Engineer I

at Coretelligent, you’ll combine your technical expertise with strong customer service to provide onsite support to our diverse client base. This onsite role will involve traveling to local client locations throughout the San Francisco/Bay area and working closely with clients at all levels, including executives.

The ideal candidate will have a solid technical background, excellent troubleshooting skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. This role will involve providing both onsite and remote IT support to our clients, handling technologies including Windows operating systems, networking, Microsoft 365, Azure, and server infrastructure.

As a Level 1 Engineer, you will provide onsite support for a broad range of technical issues, ensure seamless customer communications, and contribute to maintaining a high standard of white-glove service for clients. The position also includes participation in an on-call rotation.

Key Responsibilities

Communicate with clients on-site (desktop support) to resolve technical issues and close tickets

Utilize strong knowledge of Windows desktop troubleshooting to assist with connectivity, printing, user profiles, and applications

Provide strong Microsoft Office and Mobile Device troubleshooting to resolve client issues

Troubleshoot backup solutions, mail-flow, and Exchange DAG

Utilize knowledge of Exchange configuration and troubleshooting to support clients

Deploy new hardware using imaging technology

Responsible for user account management in Active Directory, Exchange, spam filters, and other platforms (creation, removal, changes, password resets, bulk operations)

Utilize knowledge of corporate networking and services to provide client support, including configuring switches and troubleshooting DHCP servers, local DNS, external name resolution issues, AD replication, and VPN

Perform after-hours work as needed for on-site support and infrastructure/server maintenance

Required Skills and Qualifications

2+ years of related work experience

Proficient in Azure environments and O365 administration

Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment while producing high-quality results

Ability to follow and adhere to a defined process

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

Customer-focused with the ability to provide white-glove service

Salary : $75,000 - $85,000

This range reflects the minimum and maximum targets for new hires across all US locations (with exceptions). Within the range, individual pay is determined by job-related skills, experience, work location, and education or training.
