Overview
Senior Sales & Channel Development Leader – Electrical Power Solutions. Location: Austin, TX (Must be located in Austin). Relocation package available if needed. Salary: $150k+ (Salary + Bonuses). We are seeking a proven sales leader to drive growth in high-performance transformers, busbars, switchgear, and power distribution solutions for industrial, utility, and infrastructure clients. This role offers the opportunity to shape strategy, build customer engagement, and lead a high-performing sales team—making a direct impact on business expansion and long-term market success. Key Responsibilities
Create and execute a comprehensive distribution strategy across direct sales, resellers, agents, and OEM alliances. Recruit, onboard, and manage high-value channel partners in strategic markets. Establish incentive structures, pricing strategies, and sales enablement resources. Build account-specific engagement strategies with tailored value propositions. Cultivate long-term relationships with senior decision-makers. Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to contract closure. Set revenue objectives, forecast sales, and oversee performance metrics. Collaborate with national sales teams on branding and lead generation campaigns. Market & Product Alignment
Monitor market trends, competitors, and evolving customer needs. Partner with engineering/product teams to ensure offerings meet market demand. Provide customer-driven insights for product innovation. Mentor and develop managers and individual contributors. Oversee hiring, training, and performance management to ensure excellence. Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering, Business, or related discipline (MBA preferred). 10+ years of progressive sales/business development experience in power systems or electrical equipment. Strong knowledge of transformers, busbars, switchgear, and circuit breakers. Demonstrated success in building/managing sales channels and closing large contracts. Skilled in negotiations, strategic sales planning, and presentations. Experience launching or scaling new business units or products. Willingness to travel regionally and internationally as required. Preferred: Established network with utilities, EPC firms, and industrial customers. Experience in regulated industries or emerging markets. Familiarity with power system standards and compliance requirements. Why This Opportunity?
